Does my hair have to be a certain length for these extensions?
That depends on the length you desire to wear. Woman with short hair (right above their shoulders) can wear extensions in 14' or 16' inches long.
If the clients hair is at the shoulder and below the length can extend past 16' inches, up to 18', 24' inches long. The extensions can be installed for volume and or length.
are you offering IBE, SKW & NBR?
No. Currently the only methods I offer are IBE .This is the latest method that offers so many more benefits than what is currently on the market today.
If I'm tender headed can I wear these?
Yes. I take extra precautionary steps & us proprietary techniques to ensure there is no tension before you leave the salon
What if I'm allergic to metal?
These beads do not touch the scalp. They are a proprietary blend of aluminum and copper for ultimate flexibility and durability.
If I need an MRI do have to remove my extensions?
The beads are typically MRI safe due to the fact that the blend is aluminum and copper. The exception is typically when MRIs are taken near the scalp. It is always recommended to discuss with your doctor before the scan.
Are the extensions custom colored to match my hair?
Yes. I will custom color your extensions for a seamless blend.
How do I know how many rows I need?
This is where the application comes in, there are a few questions asked regarding your hair goals and your current hair status and from that I can give you a good estimate. A good rule of thumb is the more dramatic the change the more hair and rows you need.
How long does the hair last?
The hair will typically last 12 months if the client uses only the professional products I recommend. However, this can vary depending on the client as some prefer scheduling earlier exchanges and others a littler longer.
Do you have wavy or curly hair options?
Yes, and the hair is just lovely! You can expect for these to run more than the regular extensions.
Do I need to use professional products?
Absolutely. I will go over the best for your hair extensions. The hair needs special care to ensure the longevity and quality of the extensions. Shampoo must be sulfate free. A conditioner, deep treatment or detangler is also a must. Avoid oils on the extension hair. Styling products are permitted but less is more on extensions.
Are there any products I must avoid on the hair?
Yes. Sunscreen and specifically the ingredient avobenzone. This will turn blonde hair a peachy or pick hue and is usually impossible to remove. Always wear the hair up for fun in the sun! It's best to wet the extensions and apply conditioner before swimming.
Is it difficult to style the extensions?
No. The hair can be styled just like your natural hair. The extensions hold curl for several days so it actually cuts down on styling time.
How often is a move up appointment?
Most move ups are generally every 8 weeks.
How much do the extensions cost?
Please refer to price menu. All pricing includes hair extensions, installation of extensions, bag of products, haircut & style. Due to everyone's hair goals being different (amount of hair and amounts of rows being installed) pricing very for everyone. Color is priced separately too, due to different hair goals.
Can I buy my hair elsewhere and have you install it for me?
I purchase all hair for my installs to assure long term quality and function, in addition to making sure they are suitable for the IBE method of installation (many extensions are not). In the instance that you already have extensions I would need to inspect and advise if they will work and pricing may vary depending on the situation.
